These terms govern use of the Shopify app “Guardrails” (“the app”) provided by fixcode (“we”).

1. What the app does, and its limits

• The app reports store settings that match rules defined in advance. It does not guarantee that it finds every problem.
• What to do about a reported finding is the merchant’s decision.
• Checkout blocking works only when the merchant explicitly turns it on. It is off by default.

2. About checkout blocking

• This feature really does stop purchases. The merchant chooses what it applies to.
• Anything marked as intentional is never blocked.
• When a check confirms a problem is resolved, that product is removed from blocking automatically.
• If the app’s own processing fails, purchases are not blocked. We fail open.

3. Pricing

• Billing is handled by Shopify. The amounts and terms shown on Shopify’s pricing page prevail.
• On the free plan, manual checks are limited to one per month.

4. Disclaimer

• We are not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, except in cases of our intent or gross negligence.
• Changes or outages on Shopify’s side may stop the app working.
